I also know some of the people she interviewed and go with whom she got her information. I am Coast Salish Native American and at a very early age we were taught not to talk about most of the subjects she brings out in her book. Not that|From the Inside Flap|A brilliant, experimental ethnography, "Brushed by Cedar" is destined to change the way anthropologists write about the people they befriend. Crisca Bierwert has created a fresh poststructural ethnography that offers new insights into Coast
