In 1969, when I was approaching that 'Life Begins At Forty' age, I decided to spread my wings and was lucky enough to land in Nassau where I taught for four years. During that time I regularly wrote home to my parents who lived in North Devon, England. I had the foresight to ask them to keep my letters which my mother did (in date order), bless her. I have recently unearthed them and, for the first time since I wrote them, have re-lived my time in the Bahamas.
